The Mettler TENS*STIM 211 TENS/EMS Device (#ME 211) comes standard with a carry pouch, pack of V Trode Self-Adhesive Electrodes - 2" Square (#2705), two TENS Lead Wires (#2110), three AAA batteries, protective cover, and an instruction manual.

The TENS*STIM 211 is an over-the-counter (OTC) two-channel digital TENS/EMS device powered by batteries for home use. It doesn't require a prescription for purchase. The TENS mode provides eight preset programs and the EMS mode provides six preset programs that are created for specific patient conditions. It is safe and effective for home use and a perfect fit for anyone suffering from acute or chronic pain. It also provides muscle stimulation to help improve or maintain muscle performance.

TENS is a method of treating pain that is non-invasive and non-narcotic. The TENS device sends comfortable impulses through the skin that stimulate the nerve (or nerves) in the treatment area. In many cases, this stimulation will greatly reduce or eliminate the pain sensation you feel by masking the original pain message sent to the brain. It is also believed that TENS stimulation helps release endorphins into the blood stream, thereby further reducing pain.
