Description

Merit Littauer cutting forceps are non-ratcheted, plier handle instrument used primarily for cutting or debrieding nail and bone - including bones found in the facial and nasal region, or small animal (mice) veterinary procedures. The short, sharp blades are able to produce enough force to cut through thick nail and small bone, but delicate enough not to cause trauma to surrounding tissue or organs. This is particularly helpful with nail debridement which should be completed in short, small sections to avoid damage to the hyponychium. The Merit line of instruments are an economical office grade used in routine in-office procedures. This product is straight with smooth edges, and is available in four different lengths.
