The Medical Illumination VidaShield UV24 Overhead Air Purification System is specially designed to provide continuous ultraviolet protection against airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold, all while safely hidden overhead and out of sight. This patented system sits behind standard-sized fluorescent or LED ceiling lights and delivers fresh, clean air to breathe around the clock. Capable of treating a volume of air equivalent to a 10' x 10' x 8' room four times an hour, the VidaShield UV24 combines an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) chamber and air circulating fans with an overhead ceiling light to ensure operation 24/7/365.
