LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode Instructions for Use

Frequently asked questions

Is high-quality surgical grade steel used for this electrode?

Yes, the LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode is constructed from high-quality surgical grade stainless steel.

This robust material is essential as it ensures the electrode can be reliably sterilized and reused repeatedly, offering both precision and long-term value for chronic pain management procedures.

Is the LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode designed for reliable reuse?

Yes, the LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode is specifically designed for repeated use. It is constructed from high-quality, surgical-grade stainless steel, allowing it to be sterilized for multiple uses in radiofrequency lesioning procedures.

What does the color-coded tube indicate for cannula use?

The color-coded silicone tube attached near the electrode hub is a key feature for intuitive length identification.

It serves as a visual aid to clearly indicate the specific compatible RF Cannula length needed for that electrode variant. This helps streamline procedures by ensuring you select the correct LCCS Disposable RF Cannula every time.

Is this reusable electrode compatible with major RF generators?

Yes, the LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode is designed for versatile compatibility with many major radiofrequency generator platforms, offering flexibility in clinical settings.

Compatibility details are as follows:

  • Direct Compatibility: It connects directly to Nuerotherm RF generators.
  • Compatibility with Adapter: It can also be used with generators from Avanos, Baylis, Boston Scientific, Halyard, and Kimberly Clark.

Note: Utilizing the electrode with non-Nuerotherm systems requires the separate purchase of an adapter cable (part number #IKD-K-20-LC).

This broad compatibility, combined with its surgical-grade stainless steel construction allowing for sterilization and reuse, ensures excellent long-term value for pain management procedures.

What electrode lengths are available?

The LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode is available in four specific operational lengths, all standardized to a precise 27 Gauge (G):

  • 50 mm
  • 100 mm
  • 150 mm
  • 200 mm

Constructed from high-quality, surgical-grade stainless steel, these electrodes are designed to be sterilized for repeated use, providing long-term value. A helpful feature is the color-coded silicone tube attached to the electrode hub, which visually indicates the required compatible RF Cannula length.

Is the reusable electrode compatible with any cannula gauge?

Yes, the LCCS Medical Reusable RF Electrode is specifically engineered for seamless integration with LCCS Disposable RF Cannulas of any gauge. This versatility is a key benefit, allowing professionals to select the exact cannula size required for various radiofrequency lesioning procedures. Note that while the electrode accepts any cannula gauge, the reusable electrode itself is consistently manufactured in a fine 27 Gauge across all available lengths (50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm).

Is this electrode used for chronic pain procedures?

Yes, this LCCS Medical reusable RF electrode is specifically designed for procedures related to chronic pain management.

Its primary function is to:

  • Conduct radiofrequency (RF) current.
  • Perform radiofrequency lesioning specifically targeting peripheral nerve tissue.

This device is built for clinical reliability and long-term value:

  • Material: Constructed from high-quality, surgical-grade stainless steel.
  • Durability: It is fully sterilizable and intended for repeated use, providing an excellent reusable option for medical facilities.
Is this RF electrode manufactured in the USA?
