Kinsman Weighted Utensils

Yes, these weighted utensils are specifically designed to assist individuals experiencing hand tremors. They are highly beneficial for those managing conditions like Parkinson’s disease or essential tremor.

The weighted design helps to counteract involuntary movements, providing significant stability for a more secure and independent grip during mealtimes.

The Kinsman Weighted Utensils are specifically engineered to provide stability and promote independent eating for individuals experiencing hand tremors, such as those with Parkinson’s disease. This effect is achieved through two primary design features:

1. Precision Weighting: Each standard utensil weighs approximately 7 ounces. This added mass is crucial for counteracting and significantly dampening involuntary hand movements, granting the user greater control during meals.
2. Enhanced, Non-Skid Grip: The utensils utilize a durable gray vinyl handle with a redesigned, star-shaped grip pattern. This texture, combined with the handle’s substantial size (approximately 1.3 inches in diameter and 4¾ inches long), maximizes grip security and prevents slippage, even for users with limited dexterity.

The Kinsman Weighted Utensils are available both as individual pieces and in several convenient sets, allowing flexibility for user needs.
