The Joerns UltraCare XT Bed is a unique long-term care bed that comes standard with a soft tone frame color, QuickCare, AdvancedCare positioning and a grid deck mattress. UltraLock is available as an additional configuration, which provides safety locking mechanisms for the head or foot ends of the bed.

Important Notes:

  • Head board, foot board and assist handles (side rails) which are shown in the product image are sold separate. Joerns highly recommends optional accessories be purchased at the same time as the bed (see Accessories).
  • AdvancedCare staff control requires purchase of bed panels (sold separately).

The Joerns UltraCare XT Bed is very versatile, allowing caregivers more comfort options for patients. The bed comes with QuickCare feature, which gives the bed flexibility to raise and lower the bed in under 30 seconds. This way, caregivers can assist patients in getting up or sitting down on the bed. The AdvancedCare feature is also included with the bed, and is a gravity-assist chair position for safer, more comfortable positioning.

The UltraLock feature is available as an add-on, which keeps the bed safe during movement, and can be applied to either the foot end of the head end. There are also ergonomic controls, such as raised buttons, backlighting, and a staff control.
