Nicely designed with large numbers. I am a retired physician and we used these in exam rooms . They do require regular adjusting to make sure the needle is exactly on Zero before weighing but this is easy with the dial on the front of the scale . It is not as accurate as a beam balance scale but I believe its accuracy is between 0 and 2 lbs of the beam balence models which are very expensive and take up too much room. This scale is quite adequate for daily use..
Works well - much better than inexpensive mechanical models - albeit zero varies within the range of abou1 +/- one pound between uses.
