The Hausted EPC500 Procedure Chair is most ideal for outpatient surgery, emergency rooms, and dialysis centers. Additionally, the Procedure Chair boasts a high weight capacity at 600 lb, allowing caregivers to be more accommodating of larger patients. With a higher weight capacity comes a wider patient surface at 26 inches, as well as a powered leg extension for taller patients. The Dura-Gel pad insert is thick and comfortable for patients of all sizes, and possesses a full radiolucent back for multiple imaging needs.

Safety features include a large leg clearance for physicians to move around the chair easily, and ergonomic push handles. The wheels are Smart Casters with auto braking and advanced steering features. The included hand pendant allows caregivers to record pre-sets and three memory positions, which accelerates treatment and helps patients feel prepared and comfortable. For consistent power provisions, the chair also contains a back-up lithium ion battery to increase battery life.
