The Ferno 430 Restraint can be applied to any Ferno stretcher or cot for patient security. The primary-use restraint is suitable for securing a patient on compatible equipment during transport in a motor vehicle.

The restraint strap is adjustable and made of 2" nylon webbing. It is equipped with quick-release, automotive-type, chrome-plated buckles. The push-button operation allows for secure fastening and easy release. The hemmed tab prevents the strap from being pulled free of the buckle. The chrome-plated metal buckle is both rust- and corrosion-resistant.

This restraint is available in either 2 Piece or 1 Piece variations. The 2 Piece configurations are one belt that is split into two pieces, with loops on either end and one male buckle (tang) and one female buckle (receiver). The male and female buckle clip together, and the loop ends can be placed as needed on a stretcher or backboard. The 1 Piece configurations are one solid belt that is not split, and contains one male buckle and one female buckle on either end. The buckles clip together to form the restraint.
