The SonoTrax Basic A is a high performance model with FHR digital LCD back light display. The SonoTrax Basic A model has audio output, which can be connected with earphone or recorder. You can operate the unit with multiple probes for vascular diagnosis as well.

It is intended for use by health care professionals in hospital, clinic, and private office settings.

The 2 and/or 3 MHz waterproof probes are indicated for the detection of fetal heart rate from early gestation through delivery and as a general indication of fetal well being. They can also be used to verify fetal heart viability following patient trauma.

The 4 and/or 8 MHz waterproof vascular probes are indicated for the detection of blood flow in veins and arteries for assisting in the detection of peripheral vascular disease.

Good product but horrible shipping

Shipping times listed on the product page and at check out are not accurate. Check with customer service before you place an order if you need it soon. My doctor suggest I purchase a doppler to use at home during my pregnancy and after a lot of research I felt this one was the best product for the price. I wanted one that was medical grade for early pregnancy. Shipping was supposed to be 2 weeks. However, the shipping kept getting delayed multiple times and then I was told it was on back order. I finally received the product 8 weeks later. I can only say it works well and easily detects the fetal heart beat at 19 weeks and beyond. Wish it arrived on time so that I could see how well it works in the earlier weeks of pregnancy.

Basic, no frills doppler

Works fine. Easy to use. Arrived as expected.

Terrible Shipping Time

Three weeks after placing the order it still had not shipped. Planning to cancel order. With peace of mind being so important to expectant mothers I do not recommend ordering this product if you want it quickly.
