Description

Sklar's Econo Shortbent suture scissors are primarily used for suture removal. These scissors have a small hook shaped tip on one blade that slides under sutures to slightly lift them before cutting for removal. This hook also holds the suture so it does not slip off the blade of the scissors prior to cutting. Shortbent suture scissors are smaller than many standard suture scissors and they have delicate blades, ideal for removal of small sutures. They should not be used for cutting tissue. Econo is Sklar's line of cost effective floor grade instruments used for routine outpatient procedures. They are hand crafted in Pakistan, and sold in bulk quantities.
