DynaGel is a clear or blue, medium-viscosity ultrasound gel. Popular for use in therapeutic ultrasound, this water soluble formula contains no salt, alcohol, fragrance, or dye. It is an excellent medium for therapy, as it spreads evenly without running or drying. It is both hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic.

I have a Sportsart e82 elliptical machine I use for exercising and it can use a chest worn Polar heart rate transmitter to monitor your heart rate. The transmitter works great when you're sweating but it's iffy when you first start out. I found out that using a small smear of an ultrasound gel would help with maintaining a good contact. I looked on Amazon and found many gels but most were pretty pricey. I found MFIMedical and their .5 liter clear gel for about $10. So I ordered it. I really should either read more closely, or not place online orders late at night because I did not get what I wanted to buy. I wanted to buy the .5 liter container of clear gel. I received a 5 liter container of clear gel. FIVE LITERS. Over a gallon of clear ultrasound gel that I use about 1-1/2 - 2 teaspoons of 3 times a week. At that rate, I have over a 2 year supply. It's a good thing it has a 2 year shelf life. Oh, does it work? Yes, it works great and when I'm done, and being water soluble cleans up easily. I will buy more, in a couple years...
