  • Latex-Free: The splints are constructed without latex, addressing common material sensitivities.
Does the ActiSplint feature a durable aluminum core?

Yes, the Dynarex ActiSplint is built around a durable aluminum core which ensures essential structural support and rigidity after shaping. This core material is integral to the splint’s high versatility, durability, and user-friendliness.

Key features enabled by this construction include:

  • Malleable Conformance: The splint can be easily bent and molded to conform precisely to the contours of the injured area, providing customized support.
  • Imaging Compatibility: The material is radiolucent, meaning the splint does not need to be removed for patient imaging (such as X-rays).
  • Lightweight & Durable: Weighing approximately 180 grams (general product weight), the splint is also reusable, water-resistant, and can be cut to the required size using standard scissors.
  • Hypoallergenic: The product is manufactured to be latex-free, making it suitable for users with sensitivities.
Are the ActiSplints water-resistant?
