Frequently asked questions
Does the wax coating provide better durability?
Yes. Unlike standard poly-coated cups, these cups feature a high-performance wet wax coating that offers superior structural integrity. This ensures the cup remains sturdy and resists collapsing during use.
Can these handle thick beverages like smoothies?
Absolutely. These cups are specifically engineered for heavier cold applications, making them an ideal choice for:
- Thick milkshakes
- Smoothies
- Dense, cold beverages that require extra stability
Is this cup suitable for hot drinks?
No, this cup is designed exclusively for cold beverage applications. The specialized wax coating is optimized to maintain its rigidity when filled with cold liquids.
Does the paper material hold its shape well?
Yes. The construction of the Bare Eco-Forward cup is focused on maintaining shape and structural integrity. The wax treatment provides significantly better rigidity compared to standard Double-Side Poly (DSP) cups.
What is the capacity of these disposable cups?
Each cup has a convenient capacity of 12 ounces, making them perfect for standard cold drink servings in office, cafeteria, or food service settings.
Are these cups appropriate for professional food service?
Yes, these are considered a professional-grade solution. They are perfect for various high-demand environments, including:
- Office breakrooms
- Cafeterias
- Smoothie and juice shops
- Fast-food establishments
What is the design aesthetic of the cups?
The cups feature a distinct Leaf Print aesthetic. This design provides a professional yet casual look suitable for a wide variety of facility and food service environments.
Are these cups meant for one-time use?

Are lids included with the case?
No, these units are supplied as cups without lids. They are designed as a straightforward, cost-effective solution for serving cold beverages.
How does the wax coating compare to standard poly?
The wet wax coating is a significant upgrade over standard Double-Side Poly (DSP) cups. It creates a firmer, more reliable wall thickness that prevents the cup from softening when holding thick or heavy contents.
