Description

The Covidien BIS Quatro Brain Monitoring Sensor (#186-0106 / 25 per Box) is designed to measure brain activity in adult patients undergoing general anesthesia or sedation. It is applied directly to the patient's forehead to enable recordings of electrophysiological (such as EEG) signals. The sensor consists of four electrodes.

Warranty: Until Use or Expiration (One and a half year shelf life from date of manufacture).

BIS monitoring provides valuable information about the patient status to help clinicians address each patient's unique anesthetic requirements. BIS technology may be particularly valuable for patients with complex conditions whose status may suddenly or frequently change, patients with cardiovascular conditions, obese patients, and trauma patients or others requiring reduced levels of anesthesia.
