The Bovie Smoke Evacuation Pencil 3/8" Adapter (#SEPA / 25 per Case) features a 3/8" x 1' hose with 3/8" to 3/8" adapter. It is designed for use with the Smoke Shark II and Smoke Shark III smoke evacuators. It can be used alongside the ESP1, ESP6, and ESP7 disposable electrosurgical pencil series as well as the Orca Smoke Evacuation Pencil (#ISEP1000).

The SEPA is an aspiration sheath that fits over an electrosurgical pencil body and leaves the tip or blade exposed. It removes surgical smoke during surgical procedures that use an electrosurgical unit for cutting and cauterizing. It is used in conjunction with a suction (vacuum) source.
