First electrode I pulled off the plastic: Gel

First electrode I pulled off the plastic: Gel stayed on the plastic and I was left holding the black carbon piece. In general the gel is thin and doesn't stay stuck to the carbon. I Definitely Do Not Recommend Ordering This Product. I'm a long time TENS user and have used a lot of different electrodes over the years.

Do these have an adhesive back or are they have to be held in place by other means? Do they contain a gel or does it need to be applied separately? I can find nothing online about these electrodes from Amrex or other sites. Thank you.
