Items sold by MFI Medical and shipped to locations in the US, including territories, may be subject to tax.
The amount of tax charged on your order depends on many factors including the following:
The identity of the seller
The type of item or service purchased
The time and location of fulfillment
The shipment or delivery address of your order
These factors can change between the time you place an order and when your shipment is complete. As a result, the tax calculated on your order may change. We provide a sales tax estimate when confirming an order. Actual sales tax amount may then be updated later when your order is finalized and completed.
The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to or fulfilled from. *Note: Some state or U.S. territory exemptions are only issued by their respective taxing authorities. If you have such an exemption, you will be asked to submit a copy of your certificate for enrollment. Customer Service will then review your application and will email within 24 hours to confirm your enrollment or to request additional information.
Tax Exemption Program Documentation and Requirements
There are many individuals or businesses that may qualify to make tax exempt purchases. Such as:
Federal Government
Tax doesn't generally apply to purchases made by the United States government. In order to document that a sale has been made to an agent of the U.S. government, MFI requires a copy of one of the following to enroll in MFI's Tax Exemption Program:
Federal tax ID certificate
Certificate of exempt status or affidavit
Government voucher
Government Services Administration (GSA) Purchases

Other Purchasers
All other purchasers using a tax exemption need to provide us with a copy of a state resale certificate, tax exemption certificate, or other acceptable proof of tax exemption for the state or US territory where the items will be shipped.

Request a Tax Refund
If you were charged tax and are tax exempt, the following information is provided on how to request a tax refund.

Please include supporting tax exemption documentation from the state that you are registered in, along with your order number..
Refunds are normally confirmed within 2 business days and fully refunded within 3-5 business days.
Please keep in mind, during the COVID-19 pandemic refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear back in your account.
Estimated Delivery
Delivery estimates are calculated by adding the estimated handling time and the estimated shipping time. Estimates apply to standard shipping options, not expedited shipping options.

Warranty Policy
Warranty information can be found on each product page under the Key Features and within the product description. Warranties will vary by product, condition (Factory New, Factory Refurbished, and Certified Refurbished) and by manufacturer.

Factory New Items are warrantied by and through the manufacturer. All warranty claims need be processed through the original manufacturer. MFI is available to assist with any manufacturer warranty claims.
Factory Refurbished are warrantied by and through the manufacturer. All warranty claims need be processed through the original manufacturer. MFI is available to assist with any manufacturer warranty claims.
Certified Refurbished items are warrantied through MFI Medical. Warranty claims should be submitted through our online service ticket request.
After expiration of warranty, MFI is available to assist with telephonic technical support free of charge. Please request service here.
