Description

The Chattanooga Intelect Legend XT System is available as an Electrotherapy unit or as a Combination unit (electrotherapy and ultrasound). Both types of units include a patient data card and electrotherapy leadwires for 4 channels. The Combination unit also includes a 5 cm2 Sound Head Applicator (not with Electrotherapy unit).

The Intelect Legend XT System is known for its user-friendly, versatile and ergonomic design. The system's ability to be used for a wide range of therapies allows it to be called one of the most advanced systems on the market today. Six clinical waveforms are available for the patient use: Interferential, Premodulated, High Volt, Russian, Symmetrical Biphasic, and Microcurrent.

The Electrotherapy unit contains two independent electrotherapy channels, but can be expanded to four. The Combination unit has four soundhead applicator sizes (1 cm2, 2 cm2, 5 cm2, and 10 cm2), with watertight soundheads for underwater therapy. These soundheads can operate with a dual frequency ultrasound at 1 or 3.3 MHz, and have pulsed or continuous duty cycle settings (10%, 20%, 50%, and 100%).

When the device is in use, clinicians can keep track of patient treatments through the use of patient data cards. Simply insert the card into the attached card reader on the unit and record patient data for further analysis or future treatment. In addition, an optional color-coded operator remote allows treatment stop, start, pause, and changes in amplitude during treatments.
