- The seals identify the presence of any tampering with the specimen containers or vials from the moment they are sealed until they are opened at the testing laboratory
- After annotating the seals with donor identity information, remove the red adhesive seal from the liner and apply over the top of the urine container or vial
- Press the adhesive on to the sides and top of the vial until securely snug
