Sklarlite XD Derf Needle Holders feature short jaws and delicate serrations that hold small needles and commonly 5-0 and 6-0 sutures. Frequently utilized in ophthalmic, dental, or plastic procedures, the shorter length allows the Derf Needle Holder to be easily controlled in smaller surgical areas. Sklarlite XD instruments are noticeably lighter and delicate than standard instruments which allow the surgeon the highest degree of precision with the least amount of fatigue. These instruments have been uniquely manufactured to be one of the lightest, most delicate general instruments available today. This product is straight with serrated tips, a central groove and a length of 4-3/4 inches.
