Sklar's Suture Wire is used for closing wounds and incisions for Veterinary care only. It is also used to hold bones in place until healed from accidents. The wire comes in a variety of diameters (gauges). This product is .005 inches (36 Gauge) and comes on a spool of 750 feet.
