Description
Sklar's Stille-Horsley Bone Cutting Forceps are an orthopedic instrument often used to cut rib bones. It is a double-action instrument that provides greater pressure on the bones without as much effort by the user. The plier handle curves slightly at the joints, and then again, more strongly and in the opposite direction, at the jaws. This double curvature allows the instrument to be used in tight areas. The jaws of the forceps have sharp blades that square when closed. The horned plier handle provides the user with thumb and finger rests for a more comfortable and controlling grip. The overall length of this product is 10-1/2 inches.
