Description
Sklar's Semb-Stille rongeur is a large, double-action instrument used for removing portions of bone or bony tissue. Due to its size, it is most appropriately used on dense bone in unrestricted surgical sites where potential damage to surrounding structures is low. This rongeur has curved tips for removing larger sections of bone. The plier handle provides the user with a thumb and finger rests for a more comfortable and controlling grip. This product is available in two different lengths. The Semb-Stille's features are similar to the Stille-Luer and Sauerbruch.
