Description
Sklar's Meyerding Self Retaining Retractor is a ratcheted, finger ring, retractor often used in spinal and neurosurgical procedures such as laminectomy. The shanks begin short and straight, and then curve out from the screw lock to form a wishbone shape. The jaws have thin, flat blades with saw-toothed style teeth at the edge used for gripping and holding muscle and tissue. The blades are available in four different styles to accommodate a variety of surgical sites. This product has a 1" x 2-3/8" blade. The overall length is 6-3/4 inches.
