Sklar Metzenbaum-Nelson Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Metzenbaum-Nelson scissors tend to be longer than standard Metzenbaum scissors and are ideal for use in thoracic procedures. This product has straight, smooth, blunt tips, and an overall length of 8 inches.
