Similar to chisels and osteotomes, the Hibbs gouge is used for scraping, cutting, or shaping bone. It is particularly useful for contouring and is most commonly used in orthopedic procedures. This instrument is curved with an overall length of 9-1/2 inches, and a 16mm wide blade.
