The Sklar Black Heaney Needle Holder is a ratcheted, finger ring instrument used for light to medium weight suturing, most commonly in gynecological procedures such as vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, and dilation and curettage. The slightly curved shanks and tips provide the user a better view when suturing intravaginally, and the cross-serrations provide a secure hold on the needle. This needle holder may also be used as a cardiovascular approximation and closure instrument. Sklar Black Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed specifically for laser surgeries. This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff. This product is 8-1/4 inches long.
