Description
Merit Metzenbaum-Lahey Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Metzenbaum-Lahey scissors tend to be shorter than traditional Metzenbaum scissors. Metzenbaum Scissors are identifiable by their long, thin shanks and jaws that are relatively short. They also have fine, blunt, rounded tips. Merit instruments are Sklar’s office-grade line of products and most commonly utilized for routine and in-office minor procedures. This product has curved, smooth blades, blunt tips, and an overall length of 5-3/4 inches.
