Description
Sklar's Econo Schroeder tenaculum forceps are a ratcheted, finger ring instrument commonly used in OB/GYN procedures involving maipulation of the cervix or uterus, most commonly D&C, and vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy. They are also used to grasp, hold, and move vessels and arteries during surgical procedures. The tips have prong tips that overlap, providing a strong hold on the tissue. Econo instruments are Sklar's floor-grade, disposable instruments. Made in Pakistan, they offer the greatest utility at the lowest cost. Econo instruments eliminate the need for cleaning and reprocessing. Because they are disposable, Econo instruments also reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination. Econo instruments are available in bulk quantities.
