Econo Metzenbaum Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Metzenbaums tend to be longer than standard scissors and are ideal for use in thoracic procedures. Econo instruments are Sklar's floor-grade, disposable instruments and are sold in bulk quantities.
